SPEEDMASTER® motors, new from LEESON, offer enhanced inverter-duty performance from 1 through 350 HP. They are designed for use in demanding material handling, machine tool, pump and process applications.

Optimized for use with IGBT drives, the motors offer continuous, constant torque from zero to base RPM. Constant horsepower operation is available to twice base speed on smaller frames, or 1.5 times base speed in 284T through 449T frame sizes.

Larger frames (284T and up) feature blower cooling via a separately powered three-phase 1 HP motor. Opposite drive end shaft is built with encoder provisions for closed-loop vector drive systems, and encoder modifications are offered for all motor sizes. A normally closed Class F thermostat protects each phase.
