LEESON ELECTRIC has announced the introduction of a complete range of industrial-duty inline
gear reducers, the LeCENTRIC series.
Available for motorized inputs from 1/4 through 7 1/2 HP, the new aluminum-housed inline gear
reducers are designed with modular mountings to match the footprint of other popular reducer
brands including SEW, Nord, David Brown, Dodge and Brook-Hansen, among others. Ratios to
63:1 (two-stage) and 278:1 (three-stage) are available from stock.
Features of the new LeCENTRIC series include hardened and ground gears (AGMA Class 10 or
better) for enhanced efficiency and low noise, heavy-duty output shaft for maximum torque
transfer and overhung load capacity, oversized ball bearings on both input and output shafts,
single-piece housing vacuum impregnated with Resinol RT for superior sealing, premium synthetic
lubricant, and Viton® seals on input and output shafts.
In addition to the reducers themselves, two-stage and three-stage Gear+Motors are also
stocked from 1/4 through 7 1/2 HP. AC single-phase and three-phase, plus 90 and 180 volt permanent
magnet DC versions are offered, plus explosion-proof ratings.
