LEESON ELECTRIC now offers definite-purpose motors specifically designed for air over, fan-on-shaft applications in crop dryers. The motors, in NEMA 184 and 215 frames, are available from stock in single-phase and three-phase ratings from 5 through 15 HP.

All feature double-sealed ball bearings, Class F insulation systems, an epoxy-coated rotor for moisture resistance, and built-in rodent screens.

Special rotor balancing minimizes vibration. A second nameplate is also included for remote mounting. An extra-large connection box and 40-inch leads (30 inches on three-phase models) simplify installation.
